About Our Company
When Petr Herálecký set out to learn Portuguese, he couldn’t find a single app that would help him learn new vocabulary in an effective and fun way.
So, he built his own.
In 2020, after a year of development, Petr met Radim Poloch at a kitesurfing course, and together they created DuoCards as you know it now.
Today, the app has over 5 million downloads!
Our team operates from Brno, the Czech Republic’s vibrant tech hub.
In December 2023 DuoCards received an investment from domestic venture capital fund N1. The injection of funding is used for developing additional features of the app and marketing focused on the US and global market.
