We\u2019re on a mission to turn language learning into an exciting adventure for everyone, anywhere in the world!<\/p>

Our flashcard-based app combines the power of spaced repetition with real-life examples from videos and articles, making mastering a new language fun, effective, and engaging.<\/p>

About Our Company<\/h2>

When Petr Her\u00e1leck\u00fd set out to learn Portuguese, he couldn\u2019t find a single app that would help him learn new vocabulary in an effective and fun way.<\/p>

So, he built his own.<\/p>

In 2020, after a year of development, Petr met Radim Poloch at a kitesurfing course, and together they created DuoCards as you know it now.<\/p>

Today, the app has over 5 million downloads!<\/p>

Our team operates from Brno, the Czech Republic\u2019s vibrant tech hub.<\/p>

In December 2023 DuoCards received an investment from domestic venture capital fund N1. The injection of funding is used for developing additional features of the app and marketing focused on the US and global market.<\/p>
